Clear Lake Recording Studios was founded in 1987 — over 40 years of operation. The studio has been under the current ownership of Eric Milos since 2012.
Clear Lake has four studio rooms. Studio A is the flagship tracking room anchored by the Trident Series 80b console. Studio B is a Dolby Atmos-certified mixing and production suite. Studios C and D are currently on long-term lease and are not available for outside booking.

All sessions require a 4-hour minimum. Sessions are paid in advance.
Studio A: $95/hr or $700/day (8 hrs). Studio B: $75/hr or $575/day (8 hrs). Mixing: $300–$500/song. Mastering: $75/song. Dolby Atmos mix: $300/mix (limited-time special). All rates require 4-hour minimum, paid in advance.
Our office is open Monday–Sunday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Studio sessions are available 24/7 by arrangement.
No — our in-house engineers are available for all sessions in Studios A and B. You're also welcome to bring your own engineer or producer at no additional charge.
Studio A has Pro Tools HDX. Studio B has Pro Tools Ultimate HDX 2. You can bring your own session files or start fresh.
Studio A is built around the iconic Trident Series 80b console and features a Studer A827 24-track 2" tape machine, three isolation booths, and an extensive microphone collection including Telefunken Elam 251, Sony C800g, Neumann U67, and many more. Studio B features a 24 Channel D Command w/Xmon console, a full PMC 9.1.4 Dolby Atmos monitoring system (PMC 6-2 LCR, 2x PMC 8-2 Subs, 10x PMC Ci45 Surrounds), and is certified for Dolby Atmos delivery. It also features analog outboard including BAE 1073, Tube-Tech CL1b, Distressor, and Allen Smart C2.
Yes. Studio B is a fully certified Dolby Atmos mixing suite with a 9.1.4 speaker array. We deliver all standard Atmos formats for streaming and theatrical. We currently offer a $300 Atmos mix special — call for details.

Yes. We offer music video production, live session captures, EPKs, and behind-the-scenes content. Call for video shoot pricing.
Yes. We offer professional voice-over recording and ADR in acoustically tuned rooms.
Yes. We transfer 2", 1", and ½" tape formats with expert calibration. We also have a lab-grade tape baking oven for deteriorated tapes, making us one of the few facilities equipped to handle the most challenging archival transfers.
