Clear Lake Recording Studios ("Clear Lake," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit clearlakerecording.com, contact us, or book time at the studio, how we use it, and the choices you have.

With your permission, we use Google Ads to measure advertising performance and Vercel Analytics to understand website usage. Measurement may include pages visited, browser and device information, referral information, ad-click identifiers, and interactions such as using the calculator. We do not send names entered into the calculator, contact-form details, or free-text error messages as custom analytics event data. We remove query strings and fragments from the page URLs we explicitly send to these services.
Google Ads and Vercel Analytics do not load until you accept optional measurement. Personalized advertising is disabled, and Google Ads restricted data processing is enabled. We do not use this integration to build remarketing audiences. These restrictions can limit advertising reports and attribution.
Choose "Accept measurement" or "Reject optional" in the privacy notice. You can reopen "Privacy settings" at the bottom of any page to change your choice. Withdrawing permission stops future optional measurement and removes advertising cookies accessible to this site; it does not undo information already sent or remove cookies held on other domains. You can also manage cookies through your browser. If browser storage is unavailable, you may be asked again on a later visit.
When you use our Atmos Revenue Calculator, you enter an artist name. We use it to look up publicly available catalog information from Spotify and Apple Music and calculate your estimate. You don't need to log in to Spotify or Apple Music, and we don't access any personal streaming account.

We keep inquiry and client information for as long as we need it to work with you and to meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations. When we no longer need it, we delete it or make it anonymous.
We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information you share with us, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections across our site. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please don't send highly sensitive information, such as payment card numbers, through our contact form.

We're based in California and take California privacy law seriously. We do not sell personal information or use our measurement integration for cross-context behavioral advertising. We honor Global Privacy Control by keeping optional advertising measurement and analytics disabled. California's "Shine the Light" law lets you ask whether we've shared personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing; we have not. When your browser sends Global Privacy Control or an enabled Do Not Track signal, we keep optional Google Ads measurement and Vercel Analytics disabled, even if you previously accepted. These choices apply to our site's measurement tools; third-party sites you choose to visit have their own controls.
Our website is meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If you think a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it. Sessions for minors are arranged through a parent or guardian.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll post the new version here and change the effective date at the top of the page.
